Two weeks left to enter The Lincolnshire Tourism Excellence Awards

Lincolnshire Media, in association with Visit Lincoln, will again shine a spotlight on the county’s best attractions and tourism businesses at the Tourism Excellence Awards 2020. This year’s awards are partnered with LNER.

The Lincolnshire Tourism Excellence Awards aim to recognise and champion the excellence of tourism in the area. The awards provide a platform to honour the front-runners in the industry across 12 categories.

They seek to honour customer-based businesses that demonstrate excellence and innovation throughout their operation, from B&Bs to large tourist attractions.

A shortlist will be made up, judged by an independent panel of experts from the tourism industry. The awards are free to enter and those shortlisted may be visited by a mystery shopper to verify quality.

The awards process has been streamlined for 2020 with a new online application form which allows you to save applications and return to them at a later date to edit.

Eligible winners from the Lincolnshire Tourism Excellence Awards 2020 will automatically feed into the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2020 for the chance to be recognized as a national winner.

The awards ceremony will be held in March 2020.

– Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year

– Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism Award

– International Tourism Award

– Hotel of the Year

– Small Visitor Attraction of the Year

– Large Visitor Attraction of the Year

– Pub of the Year

– Self-Catering Accommodation of the Year

– Taste of Lincolnshire Award

– New Tourism Business Award

– Experience of the Year

To enter the awards, complete the form online. You will be asked a few questions about your business and why it is suitable for the award you are nominating it for.

The closing date for entries is 29th January 2020.
